This is a typical ride in Miami, Florida with my Susuki. In Miami, 80% of the drivers do not stop with the caution light and barely stop at a Stop Sign. Cars usually keep turning right at the Stop Sign and they turn in front of you in your lane. This is called a rolling Stop. The Police don't seem to care. I commute to and from work a total of 16 miles and since I leave my house,
my heart goes in my throat. I have to watch the neighbor's dog jumping in front, the people crossing in the middle of the street, without looking and wondering if the other person at the regular Stop Sign is going to stop, eventhough I have the right of way. Also, watching out for speeding drivers in a 35 mile zone, going 50. On S.W. 8th Street (Tamiami Trail - three lanes) and watching out for all of the above. Getting on I-95 and watching out for the cars speeding 75-80 mph in a 55 mile zone. Fight for the middle lane with my Susuki at 55-65 shaking. Exiting the expressway at Biscayne Blvd, and watching out for drivers who do not respect the merging lane and the same thing back after 6 hrs. of work.
